Using Verizon V10 (model VS990) on T-Mobile ?

Hi forum. I currently have Verizon service and am considering this phone. I asked a Verizon employee about using it on T-Mobile and she said it wouldn't work. Looking at frequencycheck.com I see the following supported bands:

LTE Band 3 - 1800 + Yes Yes
LTE Band 4 - AWS 1 Yes Yes
LTE Band 5 - 850 Yes Yes
LTE Band 7 - 2600 Yes Yes
LTE Band 12 - 700 ac Yes Yes

LTE Band 20 - 800 DD Yes

I see that it supports the same bands as T-Mobile version ( model H901 ) and I understand that it is carrier unlocked so why wouldn't it work if I used a T-Mobile SIM ?
